Security Oath

The Office of Institutional Research (OIR is legally required to collect a security oath from every MyData Portal account holder because the secured portion of the site contains confidential student data, such as demographic information, program enrollment, and assessment results. By signing the oath, you are affirming that you will protect both your account password and the confidentiality of the information you retrieve from MyData Portal.

For Teacher Accounts

Teacher accounts are not activated until a signed security oath is submitted to the campus account manager. Request a copy of the oath from your campus account manager, or click here to download it. Once the signed oath is received, the campus account manager will activate the teacher’s account and forward the paperwork to the Office of Institutional Research for our records.

For Non-Teacher Accounts

Users request non-teacher accounts with a form that has an embedded security oath. If your account request is accepted and your account subsequently activated, you are not required to submit a separate security oath. You are bound by the oath contained on the account request form.
