Accounts on Other DISD Systems

MyData Portal accounts are entirely independent of all other district computer systems, databases, and websites. Thus, your account information for MyData Portal does not apply to any other system, such as Oracle, Student System (also known as STUSYS or Delta), eNCORE!, the Novell Network ("the network"), or GroupWise.

Getting a MyData Portal account does not get you an account on any other system. You have to request accounts on other systems separately through the appropriate departments. The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) only manages accounts on MyData Portal, and we cannot assist with any other systems. Likewise, changing your password or reactivating your MyData Portal account has no effect on any of your other district accounts.

For example, if you want to use the same password for GroupWise and MyData Portal, you must set the passwords separately. Changing your password on GroupWise will not change it on MyData Portal unless you manually do so on both systems.

MyData Portal provides district personnel with access to assessment results, demographic descriptions, and program information for students. It is "read-only" information because users cannot change or enter new information using MyData Portal. These tasks must be completed in other systems by authorized personnel.

Examples of tasks that cannot be completed using MyData Portal (or by OIR staff) include staff development course enrollment, payroll entry, enrollment changes, or program updates (e.g., classifying a student as TAG or LEP).
