MyData Portal Accounts
Visitors
Visitors can access summative information on MyData Portal from a computer on the Intranet or connected to the district's network. (An account is needed only to access the site's restricted area, which contains confidential student data.) Summative data on the site, includes much information about schools, areas, and the district as a whole such as student enrollment and test results.
Teacher Accounts
Accounts for teachers of record are set up automatically soon after a teacher joins a school's staff. Although teacher accounts are generated automatically, the principal or the campus account manager (designated by the principal) must activate these accounts after each teacher has submitted a signed security oath. A legal requirement, the security oath ensures that teachers understand the confidential nature of student information.
District Administrator Accounts
A few other district staff may obtain a MyData Portal account by submitting an account request form. Aside from principals and superintendents, these nonteaching staff must get additional authorization to obtain an account (refer to the account request form for further instructions).
MyData Portal accounts are issued only to those with a legitimate and ongoing purpose to gain access to confidential student data. The OIR reviews each request for eligibility.
