Whenever you sign in using a temporary password, you must follow the steps outlined
below. A temporary password is assigned when your account is activated for the first time or
when your account is reset after being disabled or locked.
Sign In to Your Account
You should sign in to your account as soon as you receive an e‑mail with
your user name (your employee identification number) and temporary password. Follow the
instructions outlined in the e‑mail notification.
Go to the MyData Portal home page at http://mydata
Enter your employee ID and temporary password in the appropriate fields of
the sign-in box in the top right corner of the page.
Click the "Go" button or press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
Change the Temporary Password
After signing in with the temporary password, you are immediately redirected to a
page where you must create your own password.
First, re-enter the temporary password in the box for the "old" password.
Enter your new password in the next field.
Re-enter you new password for confirmation.
Once you have completed these steps, you will be directed back to MyData Portal. You will no
longer be required to change your password.
After changing your temporary password, you must use your new password the next time you sign in.
